The Dragino LWL03A is a LoRaWAN-based water leak controller designed as a rope-type sensor to detect water leakage. This device can be easily placed on the ground, along with the water leak cable, which is highly sensitive to water. When water is detected on the leak cable, the LWL03A immediately sends an alert to an IoT server via the LoRaWAN network, indicating a water leak event.

The LWL03A is powered by an 8500mAh battery, which provides long-term usage of up to 10 years. It sends periodic data every 2 hours, as well as for each water leak event. Additionally, it counts the number of water leak incidents and calculates the duration of the last water leak.

Each LWL03A is pre-loaded with a unique set of keys for LoRaWAN registration. After registering these keys with a LoRaWAN server, the device automatically connects after power on, making it easy to use.
