DLOS8 Outdoor LoRaWAN Gateway with 4G

The DLOS8 is an 8 channel outdoor LoRaWAN Gateway well suited for the Telemetry2U server, as well as other LoRaWAN applications, including the TTN. It lets you bridge a LoRaWAN wireless network to an IP network via WiFi, Ethernet, 3G or 4G. It comes with a mounting kit and an external 3dbi Antenna capable of >10km range at low data rates. It's compatible with all LoRaWAN nodes sold by Telemetry2U and comes loaded with the latest firmware, tested and pre-configured to work with perfectly with Telemetry2U's data servers and web interface.


A Gateway is required to receive the information from your IoT sensor nodes. Please note that all LoRaWAN Gateways supplied by Telemetry2U will work with 3rd party network/application servers, like TTN, but if you would like to use your Gateway with Telemetry2U’s advanced, plug-and-play IoT Platform, then you will need to purchase a license by selecting from the drop-down box below. Gateways purchased with a license will be shipped with the latest firmware and configuration optimised for T2U, with no programming or set-up required.

If you have purchased a Gateway with 4G capabilities, you may also wish to purchase an IoT SIM card. SIM cards supplied by Telemetry2U have no lock-in contract and are valid for the period of the Gateway licencse.

The DLOS8 uses semtech packet forwarder and is fully compatible with LoRaWAN protocol. It includes a SX1301 LoRaWAN concentrator, which provide 10 programmable parallel demodulation paths. It is pre configured to work seamlessly with the Telemetry2U servers, but is very easy to configure via the Web GUI interface.  It also has a built in GPS receiver used for location and time syncronisation.  The 4G modem comes pre-loaded, but the required 4G SIM card is not supplied, users must provide their own SIM card at their own cost.  Using the 4G can get around complicated installations by creating a seperate network rather that intergrating to the existing site WiFi and firewalls.
