The LT I/O Controllers allows users to send sensor data and control outputs while reaching extremely long ranges. It provides ultra-long range spread spectrum communication with high interference immunity whilst minimising current consumption. It targets professional wireless sensor network applications such as irrigation systems, smart metering, smart cities, smartphone detection, building automation, and much more.
When used in conjunction with the Telemetry2U server, connection is seamless and data processing and control is simplifed and configurable. Users can see the status of all I/O's via an online dashboard, consisting of graphs and buttons. E-Mail and SMS alerts can also be configured to trigger based on sensor readings. The LT-22222-L can run in class C mode meaning it's always awake and listening for server commands. Users can control digital outputs and relay outputs from the server, and the relays have a programmable on-time function. Thye logging rate, running mode and a reset command can also be controlled remotly via the Telemetry2U server.
The LT-22222-L has a serial output and includes a cable for connection, however, to connect to a PC for configuration, a USB-TTL converter is required. Most of the time, connection to the terminal is not required if the LT-22222-L is purchased from Telemetry2U, as all devices are upgraded to the most recent firmware version with all configurations optimised for the Telemetry2U servers.
Telemetry2U has a live demo of a Dragino LT22222L I/O Controller running on our IoT Platform.
The Dragino LT22222L I/O controller has loads of potential applications when used with Telemetry2U. It can be used to open a gate with your smart phone or monitor Oxygen (02) levels in potentially unsafe enviroments. Telemetry2U allows you to easily configure E-mail, SMS or even voice alerts - its all included depending on your plan.
