LAQ4 LoRaWAN IoT VOC/eCO2/Temp/Humidity Sensor

The Dragino LAQ4 Indoor Air Quality Sensor combines a VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), eCO2 (Equivalent Carbon Dioxide), Temperature and Humidity sensors all in one package. It is battery operated with an expected life of 7-10 months depending on environmental conditions. It will immediately send an uplink if any sensor exceeds your threshold and it also has a data logging function so you can manually download your data in emergency situations. You can also calibrate the VOC and ECO2 for greater accuracy.


Please note that all LoRaWAN IoT Sensor nodes supplied by Telemetry2U will work with 3rd party network/application servers, like TTN, but if you would like to use your sensors on Telemetry2U’s advanced, plug-and-play IoT Platform, then you will need to purchase a license by selecting from the drop-down box below. Products purchased with a license will be shipped with the latest firmware and configuration optimised for T2U, with no programming or set-up required.

The Dragino LAQ4 allows users to measure and send data, reaching ultra-long ranges via a LoRaWAN network. It provides spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimizing power consumption. It is a reliable and simple solution for critical air quality monitoring applications, including laboratory and hospital environments and Green Houses.

It runs on a user replaceable 4000mA/h Lithium battery that is expected to last around 7-12 months depending on the environment.  It includes an internal memory capable of storing data records with a date/time stamp that can be retrieved via the supplied programming cable (USB-TTL converter will be required and is sold separately).  Alternatively, stored data can be polled from the LAQ4 via downlink commands, meaning data can be retrieved if the server temporarily goes down. The LAQ4 is pre-programmed to send records every 20 minutes, with capability to be customized to suit user needs. 

It also has an alarm function, meaning if either sensor deiviates past a programmable setpoint, the device will immediately trigger and uplink with the sensor values and the alarm status that it can be used to trigger and E-mail, SMS or voice alert through Telemetry2U.

The Dragino LAQ4 can be calibrated manually with a push-button, but it can also do a daily auto calibration based on the best air quality readings over the previous 24 hours.  This great helps to improve the accuracy.  By default, it is set for manual calibration.
